2026 Denza B8 price and specs

The Denza B8 is the latest large off-road SUV to enter the Australian market, but this is quite a bit different from a Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series or Nissan Patrol.

Available to order from today ahead of customer deliveries commencing early in 2026, the B8 features body-on-frame construction like those two.

However, it eschews a traditional diesel or petrol powertrain for a turbocharged four-cylinder plug-in hybrid.

It’s still capable of towing up to 3500kg and can hit 100km/h in under five seconds and achieve upwards of 100km of electric-only range. Even if it mightn’t be able to do all of those simultaneously, the spec sheet nevertheless shows this 4×4 wagon has quite a breadth of ability.

The B8 also features BYD’s DiSus-P adjustable hydraulic suspension. This allows the ride height and the level of stiffness to be adjusted.

Pricing

2026 Denza B8 (seven seats) $91,000

Drivetrains and Efficiency

The B8 comes standard with four-wheel drive and an electrically actuated rear mechanical differential lock. However, only the six-seater variant features a locking front diff.

Both B8 variants feature double-wishbone front and rear suspension with BYD’s DiSus-P system.

Denza has supplied fuel consumption and electric range figures based on both WLTC and more lenient NEDC test cycles.

The B8 features vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, allowing you to power appliances with the vehicle.
