2026 Jeep Wrangler price and specs: Off-roader gets price rises, anniversary special

After Jeep cut Wrangler prices last year, making the remaining Rubicon variants the cheapest they had been since 2022, it has raised them again.

The 2026 Jeep Wrangler now opens at $81,990 before on-road costs in two-door guise and $84,990 before on-road costs in four-door form, both representing $2000 increases over the equivalent 2025 models.

Jeep has, however, made a heavy-duty steel front bumper standard. This was previously a $3374 option.

Also new are quick-release door hinges, allowing for faster, easier door removal, while there’s new Tungsten-coloured steering wheel stitching (replacing red) for a “more premium, unified cabin appearance”.

Goldilocks yellow joins the exterior colour palette but only for a limited run, joining other limited-run finishes like Tuscadero (pink) and Mojito (lime green).

There’s a new 85th Anniversary special edition, based on the four-door Rubicon and priced at $88,490 before on-roads.

It features special badging and plaid interior trim, and can be had with only Bright White or optional Black or Granite Crystal exterior finishes.

The more affordable Sport S and Overland trims haven’t returned to the lineup, after being axed for 2025.

Jeep has repeatedly raised prices during this generation of the Wrangler, citing global supply chain issues and rises in material costs.

Here’s an overview of Wrangler Rubicon pricing from 2020 to now.

Year Rubicon 2-dr Rubicon 4-dr
2026 $81,990 $84,990
2025 $79,990 $82,990

2023 $83,950 $86,950
2022 $72,550 $78,450
2021 $64,950 $69,950
2020 – $65,450

Wrangler sales in Australia slumped by 40.2 per cent last year, as the Jeep brand continues to struggle.
