The 2026 Chicago Auto Show is underway
One thing that the Chicago show has been doing in recent years is working to create other activities for visitors to do in addition to looking at cars. Some of these things are directly related to cars — such as test tracks. Others are not — there’s an indoor run planned.
Going to an auto show as a paying customer is usually fun for enthusiasts, but people tagging along who aren’t car nuts might want to find another way to spend their time at the show. And even the biggest car enthusiast might want to, say, check out the craft beer stand.
So, for those of you who go to auto shows, what do you like to do in addition to kicking tires? Do you go ride on the test track? Do you line up for a few laps of Laguna Seca in a video game? And so on and so forth.
