The Aston Martin DBX has been recalled because a key suspension component could collapse unexpectedly.

“On the affected vehicles, the rear lower suspension arm bolt may not meet the required specification and may detach,” the company says in its recall notice.

“As a result, the suspension could collapse and/or damage the brake line leading to a sudden loss of steering control and reduced braking performance.

“A loss of steering control and/or a reduction in braking performance could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”
