TATRA is redefining heavy-duty trucking with its FORCE e-DRIVE lineup, a range of zero-emission vehicles built without sacrificing off-road capability.
The FORCE e-DRIVE trucks are available in three configurations: a fully electric Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle (FCEV), and a BEV with a Range Extender engine. Each is built on TATRA’s signature backbone tube chassis with swinging half-axles and air suspension, preserving 100 percent of the brand’s legendary mobility.
The Hydrogen TATRA is the brand’s first fully emission-free truck, powered by two Ballard fuel cells producing 100 kW each, running on six hydrogen tanks carrying 5 kg of hydrogen each. A Danfoss synchronous electric motor drives the wheels, and the tanks fill rapidly to minimize downtime.
TATRA also offers a Hybrid version: its first truck with hybrid drive, combining a diesel engine, electric motor, and traction batteries. The system supports multiple driving modes, including pure electric operation with a range of up to 70 km, making it ideal for cities and environmentally sensitive areas.
