Cadillac was exceptionally proud of its 1958 models, saying, “In styling, in design, and in engineering, the latest ‘car of cars’ has added dramatic emphasis to Cadillac leadership.” The Series 62 was the volume leader for the brand, offered as a coupe, sedan, and convertible. Its design language was penned under Harley Earl, and the car leveraged the General Motors C-body platform with a 129.5-inch wheelbase.
This example is described by the seller as “highly original.” Its exterior is painted Daphne Blue (code 20) and Alpine White (code 12) two-tone. Features include eggcrate grille, quad headlights, chrome trim, power antenna, electric windshield wipers, driver-side mirror, tail fins, and wire wheels wrapped in whitewall tires.
