In 1974, Burger King created the classic ad campaign inviting customers to “Have It Your Way.” When Slate launched in 2022, it embraced this mentality and created a fully customizable and cost-effective electric vehicle brand. Now, the personalization process can go one step further thanks to its recently announced partnership with Monster Jam.
“Slate and Monster Jam both love doing truck stuff, just at different scales,” says Slate head of brand and marketing Ben Whitla. “That contrast is part of what makes the partnership work: the starter packs and accessories take the attitude, graphics, and fandom of Monster Jam and make them available for Slate owners, whenever they want.”

Starting off is the Monster Jam kit that “captures the spirit of the most action-packed motorsports event on four wheels.” The vehicle is painted a combination of matte and gloss black with spots of yellow seen on the mirrors, front emblem, wheels, and between the front and rear wheels.
The second is the Monster Jam Grave Digger kit, which pays tribute to the most iconic and well-recognized truck in the entire circuit. It combines purple and black paint with a purple front emblem, and sports a green stripe on the mirror, front emblem, and between the front and rear wheels. Green also accents the black wheels.

Interested parties also have the option of selecting individual accessories that include a two-piece decal set, five-piece Slatelet set (dash ornaments) featuring a combination of Monster Jam and Grave Digger icons, and key fob caps featuring Monster Jam or Grave Digger logos.

Starting at $24,950, customers can customize their Slate vehicle any way they wish or “have it their way,” as it were. If interested, you can preorder your custom Slate truck or SUV for $300 right now; you can expect shipment between July-September 2027.
