Images of a facelifted version of the Honda Jazz have been published online, ahead of the model’s launch in China.
Badged as the Fit there, the Honda hatchback is said to be limited to just 3000 vehicles, with small petrol-powered cars being a relatively unpopular segment among Chinese new-vehicle buyers.
As reported by Japanese website Creative Trend, leaked images of the model – produced by a joint venture between Honda and GAC – were originally posted on the website Autohome.
Visual changes include (increasingly common) split-level lighting, replacing the large headlight clusters of the outgoing model. The grille remains slim, but is now positioned higher.
Changes are much more minor down back, limited to a slightly revised bumper. Inside, the only major change is a larger 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, up from a 9.0-inch unit.
It’s unclear if these visual changes will also be applied to the Japanese-built Fit/Jazz.

It’s understood the Fit will be offered as a single variant, powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine producing 91kW of power and 145Nm of torque, driving the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Reports claim the vehicle will be priced from ¥63,800 in China – or approximately A$13,700.
Honda discontinued the Jazz in Australia in late 2020, with the company subsequently ruling out any plans to reintroduce the model to its lineup.
“I’ll be clear: Jazz isn’t in our plans,” former Honda Australia boss Carolyn McMahon told CarExpert in 2023.
“But that’s not to say as we as we go forward and look at what the market’s doing and what vehicles are available to us.
“We continue to scan for opportunities. But it’s not in the plans for us.”
While there’s no new of the Jazz making a return, Honda has confirmed it will be bringing the electric Super-One city car to Australia in the second half of 2026.
