Lamborghini sets global sales record for fifth consecutive year

Lamborghini has posted all-time record global sales in 2025, with 10,747 vehicles delivered worldwide, eclipsing the brand’s previous high set in 2024 by 60 units.

It marks the fifth consecutive year Lamborghini has set a new annual sales record, having done so every year since 2021, and the third straight year it has sold more than 10,000 vehicles globally, following the milestone first achieved in 2023.

Among its key rivals, Ferrari has said it will announce its full-year 2025 sales result on February 10, 2026. The Italian brand reported deliveries of 10,488 vehicles in the first nine months of last year, an increase of 61 cars year-on-year over the same period.

That trajectory places Ferrari within reach of its own global sales record of 13,752 vehicles, set in 2024.

McLaren has targeted global sales of 6000 vehicles in 2025, compared with its previous high of 4806 units achieved in 2018, while fellow British marque Aston Martin is tipped to deliver around 5500 vehicles.

Maserati – once part of the same Fiat-owned conglomerate as Ferrari before the latter was spun off – is expected to post lower sales as parent company Stellantis continues to navigate significant financial challenges.

Lamborghini’s growth has been driven by the launch of the Revuelto, its first hybrid supercar, which features a 6.5-litre V12 petrol engine with electric assistance.

Customer deliveries of Lamborghini’s second hybrid supercar, the Temerario, are scheduled to begin this month. It’s powered by a newly developed twin-turbocharged V8 hybrid powertrain.

A plug-in hybrid powertrain was also added to the Urus SUV range – Lamborghini’s highest-volume nameplate – in 2025, alongside niche programs such as the Fenomeno, a highly limited V12-powered model capped at 29 examples globally.

Lamborghini’s largest market in 2025 remained the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, which accounted for 4650 deliveries, ahead of the Americas with 3347 vehicles.

Australia contributed 272 deliveries last year – one fewer than in 2024 – forming part of the Asia-Pacific (APAC) total of 2750 vehicles.

“Despite challenging market conditions, we are very proud of the results achieved in 2025, which confirm Lamborghini’s ability to stand out even in a complex global environment,” said Lamborghini chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann in a statement.

“The performance recorded reflects our capacity to interpret market dynamics and to make strategic choices that respond concretely to our customers’ expectations.

“This approach does not aim for peaks in volumes, but allows us to consolidate the results achieved following the growth of recent years.”
