recall alert 2025 2026 lexus lx 600

Today’s recall involves the 2025-2026 Lexus LX 600.

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing has issued a recall affecting 4,374 model-year 2025–2026 Lexus LX600 vehicles due to a powertrain software issue. If a transmission solenoid fails, communication between the transmission control unit and the engine control unit may be interrupted, which can lead to transmission damage.

To address the issue, dealers will update the transmission ECU software at no cost to owners. Notification letters are expected to be mailed on April 25, 2026. Toyota has assigned recall number 26LA01, and owners can contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331 for more information.
