An upgraded 2027 Zeekr 7X has been revealed at the Paris motor show this week, but the version bound for Europe – and likely Australia – differs from the one offered in China.
Instead of a 900V electrical system, something the Chinese-market 7X moved to in 100kWh battery-equipped variants late last year, the entire European-market 2027 lineup will stick with an 800V electrical system.
The updated mid-size electric SUV will reach European customers during the first quarter (January to March) of 2027, while Zeekr in China is launching a separate 7X update later this year. It hasn’t specified all the changes it’ll feature, though it has confirmed it will introduce a new 85kWh ‘Golden Brick’ battery pack.
We’ve contacted Zeekr Australia to confirm when the next 7X update will be introduced here.

European-market 7Xs will stick with a choice of 75kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and 100kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) batteries, which can be charged at up to 450kW and 420kW on DC power, respectively, and at up to 22kW on AC power.
While the batteries and their charge rates are unchanged, range has been increased.
WLTP range figures are 482km and 627km for single-motor rear-wheel drive variants with the 75kWh and 100kWh batteries, respectively, up from 480km and 615km.
Rear-drive 7Xs also receive a bump in power and torque to 335kW and 520Nm, up 25kW and 80Nm respectively. This slashes the claimed 0-100km/h time from 6.0 seconds to between 5.5 and 5.6 seconds, depending on the variant.

The dual-motor all-wheel drive powertrain now pumps out 500kW and 790Nm, up 25kW and 80Nm. There’s been a tiny increase in range (up 2km to 545km) and a tiny increase in 0-100km/h acceleration (3.7 seconds, down from 3.8).
Zeekr says the updated 7X uses a new Bosch-based driver-assistance system powered by seven cameras and three radar units, supporting features like “fingertip and remote parking assist”.
The 7X has received a minor exterior update, with new front and rear bumpers. The rear number plate has also been moved to the tailgate.
Glacier Silver and Mystic Lilac will join the exterior colour palette in the first quarter of 2027, along with new-design 21-inch alloy wheels.

Interior changes are minor, centred on a redesigned centre console featuring a sliding cover at the same level as the dual wireless phone charging pads, for a lower and flatter look.
Many of these visual changes already appeared on the updated Chinese-market 7X last year.
The 7X has proven extremely popular since its Australian launch late in 2025.
To the end of September, Zeekr Australia has delivered 10,800 7Xs this year. While that’s less than the Tesla Model Y (35,930), BYD Sealion 7 (19,964) and the significantly cheaper Geely EX5 (12,745), the 7X is outselling every other mid-size electric SUV.
