Ford Australia is recalling the F-150 pickup yet again, this time for a fuel leak that could lead to a vehicle fire.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the fuel tank strap may not have been adequately secured to the frame rail and could detach from the vehicle while driving,” the company says in its recall notice.
“This could cause fuel to leak and, in the presence of an external ignition source, result in a vehicle fire.
“A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders, and/or damage to property.”

- A total of 3745 vehicles are affected, produced between 2023 and 2026
- The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) list is attached here
