Say what you will about the Tesla Cybertruck, but it’s popular in metropolitan Phoenix. With futuristic looks and a stout presence, the Cybertruck stands out in a segment full of conformity. However, I never expected a regressive take on a Cybertruck, which I spotted in a parking lot near my dad’s house.
Looking as if it had received the Ford Country Squire treatment (or, for a chuckle, a Tesla Wagon Queen Family Truckster makeover a la “National Lampoon’s Vacation”), this Tesla CyberSquire even featured faux round headlights and grille, giving the truck a slightly different face. Considering fake exhaust sounds and gear changes are a thing in the EV world, perhaps it stands to reason.
I was unsuccessful in discovering the manufacturer of this wrap, but it’s an interesting mash-up of futuristic and anachronistic that makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time.
